 I am glad to inform you that NRNA NCC Norway has finally been registered in Norway with the following organization number and information. I would like to thank you all for your supports and enagzement during this registration process, especially to Chudamani jee, Sanjeev jee, Nayan Jee and two Norwegian friends who helped us for translation of our constitution. Moreover, I would also like to thank all of you who participated and helped us in the  interaction program that we had with our Ambassador Muktinath Bhatta yesterday

Thanks for your concern. The fact is that you, Chudamani jee and Pralay jee can not be considered as EC members according to our constitution. However, all of you are  in fact  superior to us (NRNA NCC Norway) whereby you represent Norway in the global NRNA ICC and can guide us according to the ICC's guidelines and initiatives. We will always have your names on our letter head and websites and will work closely with you.

 

Thanks to all for welcoming the registration of the organization in Norway which will encourage us to move forwards. Our next priority will be to improve our website on which we are working on.

I would like to inform you all that we have today opened an account at DNB on the name of Non-Resident Nepali Association in the presence of our senior vice president Sanjeev Thapa. As per our constitution, I and Prem ji will have access to the account.  Please find below the account number with our organization number. I would also like to inform you that I have also trasfered 5000 Nok to the account today as my contribution and attempt to raise the fund. This was also a wish from very many friends when we had a meeting in Oslo a few months ago. This is perhaps a good time to give present or donation since it is a Christmas time. Moreover, now onwards one will get exemption from tax office since NRNA Norway alredy is a registered organization in Norway. Please remember to write the organization number and GAVE TO NRNA NORWAY (in melding/message) if you want to.  Our IT experts are working hard for the website, and we are expecting a new website soon which will also make it esay for anybody to take new membership of NRNA Norway.  This will then make our communication much easier. Finally, I would like to thank you all for your kind help and would like to wish you a Meery Christmas / happy holidays.

Let me also clarify a little bit more to my earlier apeal. This was not to meant to put a sort of pressure to anybody. There has been a sort of tradition in the past that those who are in the EC/ICC/ advisory board contribute to the NRNA fund. Personally speaking,  I think that advisors' advice are more important than their financial contribution. Thus this is absolutely a voluntary thing. If somebody outside the EC would like to join the hands, he/she is also welcome.  Since this is almost the end of this fiscal year and we have recently opened a bank account, at least the EC memmbers can consider to make some contributions either this year or earlier next year.

Again, I would like to wish you all Merry Cristmas and happy new year 2013!
