Hi all,
I'm in the process of updating Nerves to the next version of
Buildroot. The good news is that Buildroot is getting more support for
Erlang in this upcoming version. I've been making changes in Nerves to
take advantage of it. Of course, the philosophy is different between
Nerves and Buildroot (Nerves uses Erlang build tools; Buildroot
repackages Erlang packages in the Buildroot format), so some of it
can't be used yet.
Also, I'm updating the Raspberry Pi builds from Linux kernel 3.12 to
3.18. This brings them closer to what's being run on Raspian, so it
should be easier to get support if something doesn't work. For anyone
with a Raspberry Pi 2 out there, I think that it either might work or
it's really close. I don't have a Raspberry Pi 2 to test it, though.
I have the changes in a branch right now, but I plan to merge it with
master next week.
