Anyway to make a "Stack" check as soon as I switch targets?

G'day all,

So I've been using NB on my Shaman to see whether I have my HOT cast
on friendly targets and then blanks out the HOT hotbar button if the
stack = 1, but when I change targets NB takes between 2 - 3 seconds to
actually figure out if the stack is there or not. It is a VERY
noticable delay.

However, when I cast the HOT but keep the same target it checks and
blanks out the button almost instantly. This is what I mean.

1) Casting HOT on Player 1. Hotbar button disappears almost instantly.
2) Change target to Player 2. Casting HOT on Player 2. Hotbar button
disappears almost instantly.

3) Change target back to Player 1.
4) Hotbar button is active again, despite the fact the HOT is still
cast.
5) 2 - 3 seconds later the hotbar button disappears when NB figures
out the effect is cast.

Basically it seems like it is taking a long time to figure out whether
the conditions are correct or not when a new target is selected.

What I am wondering is if I could maybe macro clicking on a target to
automatically run the stack check so it is the same speed as when I
cast while watching a target? Or at least faster than a couple of
seconds?

If this does not make sense please let me know.

It should respond very quickly unless there is lag and other factors at play. If the client has the information and the client API responds with the information, NB should update in a tenth of a second.

Can you provide a few more pieces of information:
  1. When you click back on Player 1 do you instantly see the HOT buff in the unit frame or is there a delay for that as well.
The answer to this will help me to understand if the delay is the client waiting for the server to send update information or something going wrong with NB.
  2. Can you do a /nb edit # and copy and paste the actual sequence to this thread, cheers.
Hope I can help

to check if  hot is already on the target use they check on "effect"
Effect command can also check on stacks.

Like this:
Press green +
click Effect
Effect HOT1
stackcount 1
Onlyself  yes/no (i would select no / empty box why, if a other shammy already put the hot on him you will not doe it again, unless you can stack the hot)
Need - (minus)
target P

Save it.

What this does is, check current target if hot1 in on him,
If
yes do nothing goto next spell
If
No cast Hot 1

now it doesnt mather how much target you pick, aslong as they dont have the hot it will cast the hot on them.
