Last night the Board passed administrative appointments and changes to schools for 2012 - 2013 and it is with a heavy heart that I announce that my time at Nepean will come to an end at the completion of this academic year.
I wish to sincerely thank all of you for the commitment, enthusiasm and hard work you give to Nepean High School. It has been a very unique and special time in my career.....to be able to live and work in the same community has been a privilege. Sincere thanks for your patience and support over the past five years. Together, and only together, have we been able to create unique opportunities for our students and staff here at Nepean.
Mr. Patrick McCarthy, current principal at Merivale High School, will be taking charge in September. Without reservation, Patrick will be a great addition to the community of Nepean High School and I will be working with him this June to ensure the transition is as seamless as possible. Peter Wilson and Jean Fulton-Hale will continue their role with Nepean High School as Vice-Principals.
