Please note the following upcoming events at Nepean High School:
Friday, February 10 - Report cards will be sent home with students
Tuesday, February 14 – Last day for Semester 2 timetable changes
Wednesday, February 15 – Course Information Evening, 7 pm
This event begins at 7 pm in the auditorium. Parents and students who will be entering grades 10-12 in September are invited to attend the evening hosted by Nepean's Student Services team to explore course and subject pathways for all curricular areas.
Have questions? This is the night for you! Guidance staff will be available to answer your questions as you work with your son or daughter to complete the Course Option Sheet for 2012-13 and plan ahead to post-secondary destinations of college, university or the workplace.

Nepean Guidance counsellors welcome parents and students to visit the Guidance Department to take advantage of our first ever Student Services Open House! On Tuesday, February 21, between 3:30 - 6:00 pm, Guidance staff will be available to answer your personal questions about course selection for 2012-13, post-secondary destinations, pathways, and programs of study available at Nepean HS. You may book an appointment or drop in! We look forward to working with our families to plan for 2012-13!

OCDSB Parent involvement Committee (PIC) seeking members
The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) is currently seeking eight (8) Parent Members to serve on its Parent Involvement Committee (PIC). The PIC works with parents, school councils and community partners to foster parent involvement and community engagement in support of student success. Technology Update
The OCDSB is currently building wireless network access in every school and administration building, with a target completion date of August 2012. By that time, it is expected that Nepean High School will have full Wi-Fi accessibility. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to read this information letter for further details.
