On behalf of the Nepean School Council we are contacting parents to update you on upcoming Council events and to seek your input for our Spring Town Hall.

Tomorrow evening, Tuesday, March 18th we will have our monthly School Council Meeting. Our Head of Languages Diane Chouindard will join the leadership team in presenting trends in student assessment and evaluation. The presentation will also touch on our School Improvement Plan and School Climate Survey Data. All parents are welcome, the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Library.

Save the date! This coming April 22 our School Council is planning a Town Hall event for parents investigating Anxiety in the Age of Social Media. The proposed topics include anxiety, resilliency, and the impact of social networking and 24/7 connectivity on teens mental health. Council is still open to adding presenters for this event, so if you are aware of someone with knowledge in this area please contact our communications chairperson, Andrea Douglas at: andreado...@gmail.com
