Dear Friends, Namaskar !
I hope this mail finds you very well in your profession and family. I would like to draw your kind attention on the following points:
1) When the present team took over the role of EC in NEPAN, we are making our best efforts to bring as many members as possible at least in electronic communication. We are trying our level best to collect recent emails of our members and putting together in the group so that we could communicate easily. We would like to request all of you to help us for bringing almost all members in electronic communication network.
2) If some of you remember past AGCMs of NEPAN, mobilization of members has become always an issue. It is still an issue. Our thinking at present is that physical presence of our members in NEPAN office for contribution may not be possible. If many members started to come, NEPAN cannot provide even working space! Information Technology (IT) is the best way that our members can contribute a few minutes from office desks or many minutes from homes. I would like to request all of you to become responsive in electronic communication – we definitely expect few lines from you after reading this mail! This will be regarded as your contribution.
3) NEPAN started its journey from Batuleghar. Many other organizations started around at the same time, are having their own campus now but we are still moving around. Now we are in Koundol. Unfortunately last week, our house owner formally gave us notice to leave his house within a month. This notice is according to the agreement. So, the situation has compelled us to shift our office from this house within a month – by mid Mangsir. If you see our financial status, we are heading downwards! For example, NEPAN is already in around 3 Lakhs (-) during this year. At the moment, we are paying NRs 16,000/month house rent.
4) We also discussed this office shifting issue in our last EC meeting. There is no way out that we need to shift. So, I would like to request you to suggest us – (i) location you prefer, (ii) house rent up to what level we need to go, and (iii) if you have any other suggestions in this regard, please, give us.
We have a number issue to discuss and to share with all of you. However, we want not more than two vehicles at a time. So, the remaining things will be in the next mails. Expecting to hear from you because every piece of view you give will be highly valuable for your EC.
With best regards
On behalf of NEPAN EC
