Meeting with Actionaid Nepal

It is pleasure to note here that we had very good meeting with Mr Bimal Phunyal – Country director of Actionaid Nepal. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of EC members who were able to be present in the meeting is a short notice. For information of other friends who were not able to be present, we were as following in the meeting:

Myself, Mr Gopal Taman, Mr Ashbin Pudasaini, Mr Purna Nepali, Mr Tilak Khatri, Mr Rabindra Bhattarai, Mr Fatik Thapa, and Mr Mahesh Sharma.

 

As we see possible areas for further collaboration with Actionaid, I would like to request you to take the following responsibility. We need to do it as earliest as possible:

1)      Fatik Jee and Tunga Jee = Documentation and publication of best practices – 2 years project – please, prepare a concept note by 13 April 2010 and pass it to me.

2)      Mahesh Sharma = Participatory Democracy – 1 year project – please prepare a concept note by April 23 and pass it to me.

3)      Ashbin Pudasaini = International Workshop – one event project – please, revise the earlier concept note and pass it to Mahesh Sharma by 23 April 2010 – Gopal Tamang

4)      Rabindra Bhattarai = Organisational Review of NEPAN – one vent project – please, prepare a concept note by April 15 and pass it to Gopal Tamang – Mahesh Sharma

5)      Purna Nepali = 1 year project – collection, documentation, sharing and publication of best practices of participatory approach – please, prepare and concept note by 25 April and pass it to Tilak Khatri - me

 

Finally, we should be able to submit these concept notes to Bimal jee latest by 1 May 2010.

 

I have attached a tentative format for developing a project concept note. It will help you. Please, see in the attachment.
