Good morning !
It is a long time that we did not have communication ! I hope this mail find you well.
With the help of our Secretariat, we have reviewed the status of our Trust Fund to know where it is? And how productive it is? Please, find the current status report attached herewith. As per the current status, the following are the notable points:
1) Our Trust Fund (total around 42 Lakh) is almost in non-productive accounts. We are getting below 2% annual interest in average. A sum of 12 Lakh was kept in Durga Bhawani Saving and Credit Cooperative at the rate of 8.5% interest but fixed deposit period has been expired already 5 month ago (066/6/5).
2) Presently, people say that Banks have increased their interest rate. However, I do not know much about which Bank is offering what rate of interest? May be our friend Ashbin jee may know better. We need to check different options.
3) I had a short discussion with Dr Shibesh in this regard before two weeks. Please, Dr Shibesh – help us by giving suggestions – where should we keep this fund?
I would like to remind you about the mail already circulated by Fatik Jee about our EC meeting on 14 February 2010 (2 Falgun 2066). We need to decide from this meeting – where should we keep our Trust Fund ? in what interest? Please, collect information, share with all of us and let us make a consensus mind before the meeting.
