Kathmandu - Nepal's Maoists joined the government Friday after
wrangling with the new administration for a month after it was sworn
in. Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal administered the oaths of office
and secrecy to four ministers from the Maoist party at the
presidential palace. The cabinet expansion became likely Thursday
after Khanal said his party would keep the Home Ministry and the
Maoists agreed to join the government without the powerful portfolio.
