Hi! I'm wondering what my options will be as far as additional line inputs going to my 2-mix will be. I'd like to have lots of effects returns without having to dedicate an entire channel to the effect return.
I know I have 2 reverb returns and 2 Que returns, so 4 potential effects returns there.
When I'm in Overdub mode, the return from the tape machine goes to the 2-mix from my Monitor pot. Does this mean the mic/line is still going to the 2-mix? So I can use my empty tape returns as effects returns, without losing corresponding the mic/line to the 2-mix?
For example, only channels 1-16 are getting tape playback, does that mean I can use the tape return and monitor pots of 17-24 as additional effects returns, while still using the EQ-fader for a seperate line/mic source in 17-24 that goes also to the 2 mix (or busses)?
My question boils down to this: Can one channel strip send 2 sources to the 2-mix at the same time--using the fader and the monitor pot?
Thanks! Victor
