Hi all,

I've decided to sell my Neotek Series 1e and wanted to list it here first to see if there's any interest before putting it up on Reverb.

20x8 Series 1e (1986).
4 band eq
Integrated Patchbay
Mix buss has been modded to include insert point
Full cabling included
Board and power supply were fully recapped by former owner prior to my purchase.

I bought this board because I had big dreams of running a tape studio for local bands, but life ended up getting in the way and it's just not getting the use it deserves. It was also just too much board for me and honestly I was a bit lost.

I'm basically looking to just recoup what I paid for it, adjusted for inflation. I paid $7,750 at the beginning of 2019, so that would be right around the $10k mark now.

Overall, the console is in great condition. Before I decommissioned it from my control room, I went through the board and noted just a few issues:

- Channel 3 and 12 seem to have a weak signal

- The eq in/out buttons don't seem to function on the channels. The eqs are just permanently on. Because this is a universal issue I imagine the fix is pretty simple. It could also very well be the case that this is just user error and there's some universal button somewhere that I'm missing. Not sure.

- There's a slight chip off the wood paneling underneath the board. Doesn't affect functionality at all.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. You can email me here or text me at (970) 988-5917.

I'll consider all reasonable offers.

Best,
Fletcher

Hi Mike,

Just want to make sure you're aware that this is your old board. I bought it from you in 2019. I hope you're doing well!

Here's a couple more pics. If you'd like a close-up of anything in particular, let me know.

All the best,
Fletcher

I thought it was that’s why I asked. Other than the issues you mentioned does it run ok? I just sold my SSL 4K. Where are you located?

Hi Mike,

Yeah, it seemed to be running great last time I ran signal through it, which was a little over a year ago. Other than the issues I noted, all the channels worked fine. A while back there was an issue where channel 1 was sometimes only sending signal to one side of the stereo mix, but I had a tech go over it (and clean the patch bay) and that should be resolved. I mostly just used the board for front end preamps/eqs, so I never really touched the more advanced routing functionality. It should be about how you left it, haha.

The honest truth is I rarely used the console -- I've had to be out of town so much over the past few years that I haven't been able to do much recording. It has mostly just sat covered in my control room.

I'm located in Tucson, AZ.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions, or if you'd like more pics. You can also reach me at (970) 988-5916 to talk more.

All the best,
Fletcher
