His debut single, "DJ Waley Babu" featuring Aastha Gill, was ranked number one on the Indian iTunes charts within 24 hours of the release. The song crossed 10 million views on YouTube within 30 hours.[1] In 2016, he collaborated with Navv Inder on "Wakhra Swag" which won the 2016 Punjabi Music Awards for best duo/group and most popular song of the year award.[2][3] He has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as one of the highest-paid celebrities in India and as the only rapper in the list.[4]

His 2019 song "Paagal" reached 74.8 million views on YouTube within 24 hours, setting the record for the most-viewed video in 24 hours on YouTube.[17], YouTube did not confirm the record. Badshah's label then Sony Music, confirmed that they had used the help of advertisements from Google ad sense to promote the song.

His song "Genda Phool" was released by Sony Music India in 2020. It had mixing with a Bengali folk song "Boro Loker Biti Lo". Ratan Kahar, a Bengali artist, claimed to be the original writer and composer of the folk song.[19] Though Badshah later released a statement saying that it was a traditional Baul folk song which was not copyrighted, since folk music does not fall under copyright protections and is thus in the public domain.[20]

He again collaborated with Jacqueline Fernandez in the song Pani Pani, the song is sung by Aastha Gill along with him.[21] The song has been viewed more than 500 million times on YouTube. He further released the Bhojpuri version of the song by collaborating with Khesari Lal Yadav. He rapped in the song in Bhojpuri language. The Bhojpuri version got more than one million views in less than an hour and became the first Bhojpuri song to do so.[22]

Wanted to talk about "rappers" that are not widely talked about in this sub, for good. What are your views on the current yyhs vs badshah thing? As yyhs' song "kuley kuley" recently blowed off, people have been saying this is his "comeback" song (because badshah said "maine scene change Kiya and kuch logo ka comeback hi nahi horha" in one of his songs gone girl.) I personally did not found kuley kuley good. The beat was something I've heard before. But the song was a little catchy yes. But I've been seeing it all over reels comparing it with badshah's music with lakhs of likes

Let me just say when Badshah entered the industry I liked him. There were genuinely enjoyable party songs. Now his silent rap is proper shit and not mention the songs being entirely marketed on a catchy beatdrop to get viral on Reels. I was just listening to his song with Sukriti and Prakriti. That song was actually good when the sisters were singing. Beatdrop also synced nicely. But then dude started rapping. Dudes rap is seriously hilarious. Hes just focusing on rhyming words more than actually putting out some good lyrics. He single-handedly dragged that entire song down with it.

This is a case with alot of songs these days. I'm just highlighting Badshah. Folks like him Tony Kakkar are entirely composing to get their beatdrops viral. And I don't even want to talk on Tanishk Bagchi.

Rather than actually providing a good full song these people are focusing on the 15 20 seconds to get reel clicks. Modern song remakes have the same problem. Unnecessarily adding beats and ruining the soul of the original ones. Just laziness at it's peak. Badshah is peak version of all this. He's been recycling the same shit for so long. Dude's relevancy itself is a problem to the music industry right now.

The priest Mahesh asked him to remove the name of God from the song and apologise. He further said that he would demand to lodge an FIR against the rapper.

"In light of this recent development, I have taken proactive measures to change some parts of the song and actioned the replacement with this new version on all digital platforms to further avoid hurting anyone. The replacement process takes a few days before the changes will reflect on all platforms, I request everyone to be patient during this period. I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to those whom I may have unknowingly hurt. My fans remain my bedrock, and I shall always hold them in the highest esteem and with boundless affection," he had added.

The Cupertino-based company has also added touch controls for media playback and volume adjustments along with longer battery life, a brand-new charging case, and an additional ear tip size for a better fit.

A complaint was submitted to the police in Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Friday against singer Badshah for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of people by using the word 'Bholenath' in a song that contains objectionable lyrics, a police official said.

The organisation's lawyer Vinod Dwivedi claimed the lyrics of Badshah's new song 'Sanak' contained objectionable lyrics and the use of the word 'Bholenath' had hurt the sentiments of the Hindus.
