Im pretty sure not alot of people would play on them due to most of the player base being in NA or EU. Plus, right now we're lucky to have two full servers during the weekend when people don't have work.

Although there are some members in the community that come from this side of the world. There is just not enough of them that we can dedicate a whole server towards. I know some of them do not mind the ping as they can still at least roleplay without to much of a problem.

I think having an Australian server would be more hassle than its worth Our two servers we have right now barely fit max and when one is full there's more than enough room on the other server for players so a third server would be irrelevant as it would be splitting up the amount of RPers per server exponentially and RP is all about player interaction. S3 would gain around 8 to 15 players max and would be used mainly to loot up and go rp on the bigger servers That's the reason S3 was shut down in the first place

Now we could switch one of the servers we already have over to Australia which could be beneficial but only to a small number of players as we dont have NEARLY enough Australian members to consider it reasonable to have a server dedicated to that Small amount of RP'ers

I could have sworn Gaming Deluxe has an Australian server, but it's more expensive than any of their other servers. That extra cost, it didn't make sense when we could get one on the west coast US for less and would still net better performance than the east coast US or EU ones.

Yeah, as most others are saying, It doesn't matter really that the servers are EU and US, because it doesn't really affect us, sure there will be lag at times, but usually everyone on the server will experience it, unless it's just your internet being bad. I don't really know, all i can say it, Nah mate, because i'm happy with 2 servers, just can't wait for that Server waiting list so you're not spamming the server list trying to get on for about an hour and everytime you see a slot, within 2 seconds someone's got it. Only problem with being in Aus with our net, is that the servers don't pop up in a milisecond like our low ping Aus servers, that's the Only problem.

Edit: The only Bloody servers in Aus are shit ones people think are going to be good, if all these hosts took down their servers, there would be much less shit to wade through to find good servers (jk lol what good servers?). Besides, Pipsi is basically the only AUS server anyone plays on, and it's all just bantering Aussie newspawns, way too many Non english speakers close to AUS in the servers that aren't pvp (that don't have the title "PVP" boi, but honestly they're all pvp in disguise, only difference is when you try killing someone in pvp they don't bitch about how you're making the game less fun.), which makes it hard to communicate.

I actually created a thread like this a year ago. Our playerbase for australian players are not big enough and to be honest, the extra ping that we experience aren't really that impactful on our overall gameplay anyway.

But yeah nah nah nah mate, as an Australian there's about a dozen of us and our grandma playing on this server, not worth a server. Maybe if the influx rises again and we get S4 we could make it Aussie.

@Beanz__YT Reaching out to anyone who can help me with DayZ crashing. Played it all day yesterday no problems then last night came back to load in and it crashed Access violation and it's been crashing on the loading pages since saying the same thing.

@TacticalPlaydoh @TwistedAyeaye @DayZ @bohemiainteract No mate I waited the entire time to log from the server. Issue was it was an American server. For some reason logging back into the server and walking 50m and then logging off fixed it lol.

@TomEvan46325944 @bohemiainteract whats going on with the servers backend initialisation error cant even load up the server list last 2 updates really have messed the game up hopefully will be sorted ASAP keep up the good work

@MollyMagoo1 @GrumpierFaceMan @DayZ DayZ always tweet out when they are doing anything to the game or the servers.That's why I've asked, because they haven't.They have even started tweeting in advance for any maintenance, like they used to, but there's nothing.

@GrumpierFaceMan @MollyMagoo1 @DayZ There has been trouble on console. XBOX went down and Dayz has had problems when leaving one server you cant join another. So if you say/think there will be maintenance that's what it'll be for.

@helkhiana @InclementDab @camcantrun @DayZ Difficult indeed but not impossible. There are loads of tricks modders do so we don't have to synchronise the data on the network. To me it seems more of a vision of the game issue rather than technical difficulty

@Glorytothedead6 @bohemiainteract hey when you drop the new update for reforger, can you please increase the mod download allotment that Xbox can have? We get 24 GBs but it severely limits what players can play to only 2 or 3 community servers based on mod size.

@thatsmybyke @DayZ How about fixing the problem with zombie lag, rubber banding, janky cars, quick slots not working, scopes being hit or miss, and everything else that should've been fixed 5 years ago.

@ZXJGAMING @DayZ is anyone having problems logging in to dayz right now as every time i go to log into my server im getting sent back to the menu screen are the game servers down or is the game just bugging out for me

@CuzzinSnooter Anyone in the 613 having Cogeco issues the last 2 weeks? Even if it doesn't completely die, certain things just refuse to load. Honestly starting to remind me of the Netscape dayz its so frequent

@OdewardoC @DayZ I've been having issues with my inventory on xbox series x, as in I can't access anything and can't do anything like open doors or climb. It's happening on both servers I play on.

@jarvis_lia145 @DayZ please allow us to ip ban on console, the trolling issue especially on pve servers is uncontrollable. Iv had to move player spawns to dambog and manually ban the same 2 people on alts for a total of 150 bans in 3 days. Please help us

@DansBandanas @TheRunningManZ @DayZ @adamfrancu All the reasons you've outlined are the very reasons why so many of us play on modded servers. The modders have a fix for every single issue you raised. & I think that, as the devs know this, they aren't really encouraged to do anything to properly fix the base game.

@TheSeeOHZee Man, the interface for DZGUI which is meant to join modded servers in DayZ for Linux users is very unintuitive AF compared to the main launcher for the gameProblem is that running DayZ mods on Linux don't work out of the box so that is the only option for now.

@YakumaFPS @BungieHelp i love! not being able to load anything, I spend 3 hours getting onto the game, i do 2 missions and now i cant load anything? tower, helm, vanguard, crucible, error codes for dayz, might as well go to sleep. ay. Nice day 1... again.

@martin_wor83431 @SethIv4n @DayZ Having the same issue it seems to work on cliffs but not boulders, had to journey from gliniska to nadbor quarry just to get some for a flag. Also civilian fuel stations aren't filling up jerry cans, can only seem to get the one in military up by lukow to work. @DayZ

@Devin_Haas1 @DayZ are there bugs with the building fireplaces not working and also mining for large stone? Tried to get stone on a community server and was unable to even get the prompt for mining

@yakuzagod3 @DayZ this looks amazing but also id like to report a problem the servers seem to be down BIOS Error (0x0050027) Communication error; resource unreachable or unavailable this just happend anyone have advice or a fix xbox btw

@Dunster316 @DayZ i am currently stuck with some error that i can not seem to find a fix for on Ps5 after the update. If you could help in anyway i would greatly appreciate it. When i load this server tje following happens and i need to close the game. Thnak you

@Dr_Shakalu87 @DayZ I love the game, for xbox one the lag is near unplayable, of note, items are becoming ruined more quickly. Zombies are nearly impossible to negotiate because of the latency issues. Some code maybe off as a fully geared dry character with no ruined clothing had the blue temp.
