Depending on the view angle , even this price might be high.
Anyone know what this tube might display?

This is what I have found boys and ladies.
Since one of our species snagged all four it’s to to go hinting for more.

I actually interviewed at IEE in 1980. I chose Aerospace Embedded Systems Design and Integration Engineering instead. I’m retired now and I reflect back on a rewarding career with many pround achievements and peer recognition.

But you bunch of misfits are much more fun, especially the ladies 😝!

All gone. I often wonder how many were produced. I've never seen a picture of a product that used NIMO tubes; closest thing was likely a one-of-a-kind device for an observatory that someone posted awhile back. Aside from that, a few of us have made their own clocks. It was a sad story for IEE because they spent many years making this production-worthy and lost their window of opportunity as LED and VFD displays became widespread in the early 1970's.

I don't fire-up my NIMO clock very often because I want it to last. Filaments will burn-out even with the soft-start circuitry, and I can see a slight phosphor burn with a UV light even though they have less than 200 hours of usage.

...still aspirational, but these are rare beasts... I wonder if it will sell at that price?
