Ah, am I right in thinking those are the multiplexed PV remote kits?

Had you thought about adding a GPS or NTP sync device to give you a hassle free method of making both clocks show the exact same time?

Yes, I had planned to use the GPS module to make them sync nicely.  Too many hours on wiring and needed a rest before tackling the GPS.

HA! I like it!

My last clock design I had half a dozen semi working prototypes. I didn't want to give them away as some were tortured a bit and I didn't know if they were trouble LOL
I cleaned up the best two I had and stacked them up. One is running a Pi Zero set to UTC and the other a ESP32 on local time. NTP sync makes it the bee's knees!

-Moses

I'm reminded of a quote:  First rule in government spending: Why build one, when you can have two at twice the price?

I love it when the prototypes work and I get to keep them. I'm starting to like these dual displays :)

Love it, but I have to ask…

Why are the bottom units timed 4 hours ahead of the top units?

I'm just looking forward to the day we finally quit screwing around and stay on Daylight Savings Time permanently.  Daylight Wasting Time makes winter suck more...

You mean you agree then!  I don't care if it's still dark in the morning in winter, as it really sucks that it's dark when I get home and you can't get anything done at the house during the week.
