IV-18 VFD

I am in the middle of producing my first nixie clock since I made one as a 17 yo student with ttl some 40 years ago. However, I have just been given a couple of IV-18 VFD tubes which look good. As I do not want to spend too much time on them, but would like to use them, does anyone produce a pcb for the tubes using a pic controller or pcb plus pre-programmed any other controller?

I am currently in the design phase for exactly that sort of board for a
IV-18.

I currently have boards for IN-2 and for B-5870 B-5775, B-5853 nixie tubes.

The IN-18 boards will be drivable from a PIC, a Arduino, or from a
Raspberry Pi board.

I am planning on having a somewhat retail release at Maker Faire if you
are interested.

Fair enough Pewter.

I will provide updates here, although, I'll keep the updates light and infrequent. I doubt people want what are essentially marketing updates very often.

I wouldn't expect a realistic retail level release until mid may.

Once I feel the project has grown up enough, I'll send a update specifically to your email Pewter. (Expect something next month.)

Like the 'happy high voltage play'. Must admit I treat my HV generator which I designed, well cribbed ideas and designed the pcb, with respect.
