Nixie look alike Calc for Apple devices

If you are interested in a virtual Nixie experience; I have published a free app for the Apple iPhone and also for the Mac:


This requires new-ish devices.  iOS 13 or later, or Mac OS Catalina (10.15) or later.

The iPhone app has been around a while, I advertised this on the forum some time ago.  The Mac app is more recent and has more features.

One of the members of this forum (thanks so much) helped me out getting the colour options for the digits right to match the original (change to the Red filter preference).  Also the key and display fonts (use the Classic options).  It even has thousands separators emulating the original manual sliders.  If you go a bit crazy you could set fixed decimals places and use these sliders for the separators.  Picture below:

Apologies for android folks, I used these apps to learn Apple's new(ish) Swift programming language.  For fun I emulated the early state machine processor logic that I saw (quite a few) years ago.  Bit of programming tech debt I've been paying for since, guess it makes it a bit more authentic :-)

Looks very nice! Kotlin is also a very interesting language to learn ;-)
