Does anyone on the list have a decent copy of the original Forbes SC100 scope clock board they could share? Trying to troubleshoot a board that was working but is now no longer doing so.

Thx,

Nick

Nicholas -

Looking for a picture of the board, or the manual/schematic?

My clock failed a few years ago, turned out one of the PCB traces oxidized and failed.  It was a trace near the edge of the board.

Hi Gary, that's an interesting observation...may I ask which trace failed?

Best,

Nick

Nick,
There are several revisions of this board.
SC100A was split down the middle.
SC100C was a simple rectangle, single sided copper.
SC100E was double sided copper with vias.
I have artwork, schematics and maybe a blank board of each.
I can supply photos of assembled boards.

I don't recall where the break was, but it was a bear to troubleshoot.  The clock is the SC100C version.

I'm sure it was a random failure - the clock has been one of my favorites for years now (Thanks David!!).

Nick - What specifically has gone awry with your scope clock ? While I dont have an original, I suspect the 2-board kit I purchased a few years ago stole the design from David Forbes.
