I had to return this clock due to software and hardware issues. It is a cool concept but needs more QC work before jumping in. The IPS display is fairly convincing and has promise. Others on different forum have had mixed results with the current implementation of this clock.

Looks like LCD screens inside a glass enclosure. Arguably, you can make any shape, character, color, etc.

Been looking at this one for quite some time.
I love that it gives you the option to put custom graphics on it.
But I can find so little information about it and really would like to hear from people who've had it for a while to see if it's worth getting it.

I just got mine. I really like this. Unlike the Gixie clock, I am not feeling tempted to turn it into an actual Nixie clock. The software to modify the display font is available here. - Google translate is your friend. There are at least 10 different clock faces you can upload, in addition to what is pre-installed. e.g.:

You’re saying there are at least 10 different clock faces to install in addition to what’s pre-installed.
But I assume the software also let’s you use your own graphics I right?
I’ll never even consider buying this if I can’t customize it myself.

Does this have any sort of animation / effects available as having a split flap display font but with no rollover is just tragic!

Seem fairly cheap on aliexpress atm what with black friday and all that entails...

I also ordered one. Looks like there is a long waiting list. I was told to wait for at least a week before they can ship it.

I ordered mine a month ago.

Just checked…

It was in Los Angeles on 12/02/20

Strangely, it then went to Nevada and was there on 12/04/20.

No idea why when I am in Seattle WA and no movement since it went out of it’s way to Nevada.
