Nice with all these new photos! A real goldmine!

A lot of museums around the world are digitizing their collections nowadays so I sometimes go for a hunt with Google to see if something nice pops up.

Yeah, these photos are wonderful! Emil Haeussler was a lead engineer in the east German Nixie tube trade, and he developed many new tubes and concepts. He passed away recently, and the pictures you found are taken from his personal estate.

His Nixie tubes were sold online on Ebay and I was fortunate enough to purchase them. I attached the photo from the original auction. Here is a list of the non-standard tubes, all of which never made it into mass production:

Other people, most notably Winfried Mueller, have started the project "Industriesalon Schoeneweide" which tries to preserve the memories and artefacts from the time that electron tubes were produced there starting in the early Sixties.
