I have one of their clocks. The Omnixie WiFi smart clock.
It a very nice well built clock. I had tubes on hand IN-8 so I bought it tubeless. The actual clock was fully assembled and ready to run, the only “kit” part was assembling the tube adapter boards.
The pins on those boards are TINY and fragile,  so be careful when plugging them into the motherboard.

$399 is pretty crazy for a clock without tubes.

They are a little pricey, but they're very well built and the web-interface is very well done.

I dressed mine up a little...

Speaking of crazy prices, someone is trying to sell B7971's for $300 a piece on the bay.....

Sadly it seems that (for now at least) the risk of getting B-7971 at anywhere near an affordable (for me) price is extremely low and unless anyone unearths a mountain of them and is willing to sell for what may be considered a reasonable price then I cant see the situation changing.

Same thing with ZM1350's.

I was 'late to the party' on both these devices but managed to get almost enough without having to sell too many organs.

I'm always on the lookout for B-7971, ZM1350 and SP-101 - but then again, I suspect we all are!

I like how you dressed it up!  How's the case going on the dekatron clock?  I'm sure it's a little challenging figuring out how to frame the dekatrons in a way that looks good.  Do you assemble your own cases like this?  Do you have the parts made to spec then assemble yourself?  I know there are different ways to assemble cases like this.  I need to get a new one made for my second generation MOD-SIX.  I've been trying to decide whether trying to assemble one myself from the cut parts or to have the company put it together for me.

Best Regards,

Bill
