SP-151 Segmented display for nixie clock or watch

The same seller also has a lot of 25 units for a really good price at the moment.

This is the same display I have in my nixie watch. It can be multiplexed or direct-drive. You will need a PCB to solder to the display itself.

OSH Park could probably do it for about $10 US per board. If there is sufficient interest I can slice-off the display-driver board from my nixie watch project and make the gerbers available. My design is direct-drive with current-regulation on each segment, and a serial interface to control the segments. The main drawback to my driver board is that some segments are not controllable for general-purpose usage; it must be for a clock. The lower-2 digits will display 0-59, and the upper will display 0-12.

I have "a bunch" of these. If there's interest, I'd be willing to sell them for something more like a third of the price this guy's selling at individually.

Hi folks,

These look like an interesting display to play with and so I just bought 25 on ebay. My intent is to keep 5 for myself and 5 are spoken for by a friend... 15 left...

I'll pass the remaining SP-151 displays along to folks here at neonixie at just barely over my cost... $6.75/ea plus $7.50 for a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box... I've bumped the numbers by a few percent to allow PayPal their share.

Let's make it lots of 3 or more displays to cut down on my overhead time. Send me a private reply to let me know how many you would like!
