Stumbled upon this 6 digit Nixie Clock Kit...  While I usually prefer to build my own controller boards so I can implement all the features I want, I'd be hard pressed to buy components and build a similar driver for $38.   I prefer switches to the remote for settings, and I think that is an option as there is a connector labeled ISP/SW with 4 terminals marked K1-K4 and G that I suspect are for button key switches.

Anyone have experience with this kit?  Almost too cheap to not try.

Forgot the link:  Amazon.com: Nixie Tube Clock Remote Control Board

Board is a one stop solution including HV power supply - you supply the readout tubes and case.  This has everything else including NE-2 bulbs for colons and DC barrel jack + external IR receiver for mounting in case.

I have built a couple of clocks with this kit.

In fact, just received two more in the mail today.

Ordered on ebay on Dec 4th.  So, took 20 days.

Every time I plan to work on my clock project, some distraction arises lol...  I'm curious - have you tried using the K1-K4 lines for pushbutton control?  Also - what's your opinion of the board in general...  Nice feature set?
