Last year in late Feb. or Early March I won two mystery prototype
nixies off of E-bay from a person in England. One is marked VX9110
Dev Lab Sample NL Mumber7 the other is unmarked. These are end view
tubes with a 13 segment display somewhat similar to a 7971. They have
an odd pin set up that looks like it was made to plug into a socket
from behind the display panel. The pins face the top of the tube. The
construction for the segments of the tubes are different but the
layout is the same. Well I got out the lambda power supply (real nice
for nixies dual 0-250volt adjustable current limit) and powered up the
nixies. Well they both work so the gas fill is good. I took a bunch
of pictures. I guess now my question is how do I post these to the
group? The camera is a 10 megapixle so I assume I need to reduce the
file sizes? Any tips on doing this? I will post the pictures when I
get more information. Thanks Tim Laing
