Not counting the novelty bulbs (flickering flame, Flamingo, Heart shape) is there an E27 type neon bulb available?
The largest I can find is an E14 bulb made by Elfin, Italy.

Would love a box of these by the way but I think they're only made to order

I had a larger one up to a few years ago,  until I was careless and let it get broken, that ran on 120 VAC and had a standard edison base like regular light bulbs for household use. The bulb was about 2 inches in diameter. I think it was from the 1950's. No idea what it's intended use was, because it produced very little light.

Not sure if it suits your request, but there was a german bulb, called "bienenkorblampe"

Very nice but very rare!

Ooooh, exactly what I'm looking for...
Too bad it's so rare :(
Thanks for posting that.

Don’t forget those ball shaped neon’s with messages as “LOVE”, “Home Sweet Home” and so on….

About those Bienenkorb  lamps: What is the voltage they need and do they need a series resistor? Or do they run local at mains voltage?

That's what I meant with "novelty bulbs" ;)

The Bienenkorblampe (beehive lamp) runs straight on 210-240V so there's already a resistor inside.
No idea if they were also made for 120V

There are several that I know of: NE-56 (J9A) and NE-30 (J5A) in an S-11 bulb, and NE-34 (R2A) and NE-40 (R6A) in an S-14 bulb.

I think US made  Aerolux tubes with a variety of flowers etc is in the same concept - just screw them in and turn on the AC 120 Volt power.

To add to my post about the Beehive lamp:
I found this PDF file of an Osram Glow Lamp catalog: https://patric-sokoll.de/Museum/OSRAM_Glimmlampen.pdf
The last page shows that they also made 2 different 110-130V versions (75.1000 for 100-115V and 75.1400 for 115-130V)
And they also produced them without built in resistor.
