New clock design on Babcock SP431-001-01

Hi All,

Digging in my storage I have found a few 4 digits panaplex displays Babcock SP431-001-01

Here is the the picture of it on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BABCOCK-SP431-001-01-DIGITAL-INDICATOR-/111071322891 ( I am not selling it, just for display picture purpose only)

I am designing  4 digits clock on it and thinking if I have to order only a few proper PCBs or would try to make my home made ones.

So If somebody else have  this display and willing to make 4 digits clocks on it, I can go for proper PCBs and order a little  bit more PCBs  than  I need.

Please let me know if you would be  interested in PCB or clock kit...

So, how tall are the digits ? Look big in that listing but no size references are given.

51mm hight, about 26mm wide, I like that segments are thin unlike on LED ones, so it's very nice display, for sure 1 clock will stay in my collection....

Have not wasted my holiday time - just designed SP431 Panaplex clock ;-)

Unfortunatelly I only have  4 displays in stock. I don't know the price yet ( for sure it would be more than 99GBP, as displays are not cheap), so let me get the boards and assemble it first...

As this display has + sign I am planning to add function to display internal or external  temperature on it too.

New PCBs have just arrived. It is biggest size PCB I have ever designed/ordered.

Look at the PCB picture on my www.kosbo.com  front page.

Hopefully there is no mistakes on PCB, even I have checked it several times.
So exciting, going to assemble first SP431  4 digits panaplex clock now....
