Hey all!

I was wondering if anyone has some Nixie tube libraries for Proteus ISIS and ARES, IN-14 and IN-12 to be more exact.
I've already done the schematic design for ISIS, but now I need one for ARES. I was looking all over the internet for some packaging information, but couldn't find any. I doubt that actual measuring of the leads would be a good idea..
Thanks!

On the contrary, measuring the pins with calipers is a fine way to
establish base dimensions. The bases are molded, so the pin placement is
very repeatable.

You would do well to rely on the data sheet dimensions for the glass
envelope, though, since it takes glass production variation into account.

In case you're interested in gEDA PCB footprints, I made one for IN-18 tubes. My boards just arrived today, so I'll know tonight how good they are.

I've done several boards with gEDA (surface-mount, 2-layer, 4-layer, and thru-hole) with zero problems. It amazes me how good some of the free CAD tools are.

Here are Proteus-Ares nixies...

I don't currently have an IN14 in the library as these are wire base tubes.  If the attached files are compatible with your system I would be happy to add the IN14 to the dataset.
