Wow. I was thinking that these would be really neat with a mirror or some kind of rotating effect, where each tube spins with it's own slip ring as the digits change.

Robert - When you say Titanium nitride or stainless-steel, are you referring to the electrode materials, or the decorative base ?

I'm always curious about different materials used internally to prolong tube life.
