Socket[1].jpg
Does anybody known witch connector could be used to replace this СНО63-48/95x9R-24-2-V connector used on a MC6205.
looks like a 41612  64 pin (32x2) with first pin not connected for each group of 4.
but my caliper and my mind are not imperial tolerant !!!

Any info about using this display will be welcome !!!

Regards,
Benoit.

Hello Adam,
a pair of female connector should be fine.

Hi,
I will try to buy and bring 15 pieces from Ukraine to Poland. In a few days, I will know whether it's possible and how much it will ultimately cost. But I can already say that it will be less than $2 per piece.

Hi. Benoit Tourret
if you had told me earlier that you needed this connector.
I could have put it in the parcel together with the GIPS-16 board
it's not a new socket...

Olexandr, If I was aware of the future, I would be rich !!!
Jörg, No, I didn't got any schematics, unfortunately. All I can say that my display is stamped as 9411 with the Nr 5183 and have the Gazotron Logo.

I received the modern connector, the HARTING 09022646421 fits in.

Hi Benoit,
I've found a schematic in my shelf for your MC6205.
Unfortunately, the design is a bit different to mine and I do not have this type of MC6205.
But it should help anyway.
The PROM is a Intel 4316A (2k)
So, if you can read out the prom into a file, you can send it to me and I could look in.
I'm confident, that we can figure out, if the data is compatible to the 2716 data.

Oh nice !!

I will first try to display some characters with your board.
and if the hack to display the second set still works.

It's running... but in Cyrilic. see video mp4 attached. But, I think there is a problem, as I imagine that "space" and "full dots on" character should be equivalent on both character map.
So it looks like a bit  length or parity problem.

and as openweathermap is now asking for a credit card, you have to reduce the the number of call a day:
Free limit per day: 1,000 calls After: 0.14 EUR per 100 calls

It is now OPENWALLET !!!

The video is too big, I remove it and will find a better place.
