Hi Yall,

This is just another shameless plug, but at least not the Ebay sort.

You can find an article for my NixieStar clock in the Nuts and Volts newsletter here:

It ill also be in the next hard copy magazine as well. :)

I am quite the proud daddy!

Finally, a use for my IN-9s!. Unfortunately, My limited budget is already earmarked for Marcin's Nixie Lab along with things that go with it: Arduinos, more sockets, etc.

I would love to have an Arduino-based "Universal Bargraph" device that has enough juice to drive at least two IN-9s or half a dozen IN-13s. HV transistors that can handle the higher current for the IN-9s.

I see that price of Soviet NOS bargraph tubes has risen significantly in the last 18 months just like so many other parts. I bought five IN-13s from uralspirit on eBay a year ago for $6.50 apiece (he had just raised the price 50 cents a month before I placed my order).I also bought 12 IN-9s from wp-store for $2.75 apiece. I can't find those deals on eBay now. Or pherhaps I just missed it?

Cheap clock kits seem to be driving the price of USED IN-14s as well. As for the better Soviet Geiger-Mueller tubes, same story.

Joe,
Do you have a small video of the running clock?

I knew I forgot something! There is a URL for the video and my site at the bottom. The site has the manual etc and other fun stuff.

Please resist the urge to buy the 16" clock with case directly from my site and buy it from Nuts and Volts instead for now. The price is the same and if for nothing else, they have inventory.

If you don't want the whole 16" clock with case then that is another story and we can talk!

My website is http://www.nixieneon.com/
