I also have been to a gas station in Page near Antelope Canyon, the pump still using Panaplex displays, I used to drive over 5,000 km around the west coast with my wife last year.
There's a little primitive service garage locally that still has a mechanical pump in operation. No fancy Panaplex displays, just rolling digits. You can see where the face of the pump had been modified with a tin snips to accommodate a mechanism with the extra $ digit.
