Fellow nixie nuts, a Happy New Year to you all, let's hope 2024 brings good fortune to all, and more importantly, cheaper nixies (ha ha ha).

I'm on the hunt for some MM5314N chips if anyone has any?

Cheers,

Nick

A quick Google search shows some for sale. Running around USD$20. I myself have MM5311N for a clock a built in 1979. Picked up spares in 2004.

Thanks Robert. I know where you found them... :) $20 each is a bit rich, I have found a small number of chips for a lot less, but am still on the hunt....

Cheers,

Nick

Hello Nick, is MM5316N any good to you? I may be able to assist with a reasonable quantity of those, could confirm if this part is useful for you.

Best wishes
Roger.

Hi Roger, thanks for the message. I like my seconds, so I'm not sure the MM5316 fits the bill to be honest, it looks more like a dedicated 4 digit (non-multiplexed) alarm clock chip if I'm reading the datasheet correctly. However, everyone has their price.... :) I'll PM you.

Cheers,

Nick
