Microchip HV3418 driver needed

You might be able to use https://www.digikey.de/de/products/detail/microchip-technology/HV507PG-G/4902491?s=N4IgTCBcDaIBYDcCsAGA7CAugXyA. However, it’s only 5V, not 12V, but the pin configuration is compatible. The rest of the specifications are also the same, or at least very similar.

My reply doesnt show for some reason... I do already use HV507 but I have to pwm so it doesnt overheat. HV3418 is more powerful so I could run the neons at full potential :) It's pin compatible so I could just swap them.

Apparently these chips were used in industrial printer machines. Searching on ebay for "kodak charge driver board" does yield some results of used PCBs with HV3418 onboard. Those boards are expensive but so far seem to be the only way to get the chips. I got myself one of those boards, hopefully the chips work.

If anyone find a different source, please add it here! Those chips are super useful for variety of neon projects.

I have some HV9708 and HV57708 chips in my stock, I used HV57708 to make IN-14 nixie clocks ten years ago, I'd be happy to share them if anyone needs them.

This is the project I needed HV3418 for btw, it's a "analog" nixie clock. While it worked with HV507, I couldn't run the clock to its full potential / brightness. Now all it needs is a cleanup and nice case.

Nice analog clock, I once thought about making a similar clock using neon lamps, and I have already got 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm diameter neons for years, but no action has been taken yet, you did a good job.

You can pay whatever you want, I hope to make the best use of these chips and don't want to waste them.

I have 2pcs HV57708 and 10pcs HV9708 on my hand now, I think I can find more HV57708 in my office, will let you know when I find them.
