I know that the 4LW clock from Jeff Thomas would like to see a Haicom HI-204III 20ch serial GPS receiver plugged in to it.
Has anyone out there used any other GPS receiver - perhaps something more contemporary to sync the clock?

Hi....any serial one with a 4200 baud rate will work, but you will have to customize it with a new jack.  Jeff crossed up 2 of the pins on the PCB and you have to correct the mistake with wiring in a new 6 pin PS/2 connector.

I use these with my Jeff Thomas / Pete Hand 4LW and with several other clocks.
They work quite well.
As Greg mentioned, you will have to fabricate a proper cable.
I have no connection to this seller.

Many thanks everyone - I guess I should have looked at the manual and schematic before asking!
I will most likely just hook up a wemos in a tiny case and load it with some GPS emulation code that uses NTP as its source and connect via  custom cable.
Thanks again

I used an esp32 to get time via NTP and convert it to the correct GPS phrases.   I never went beyond breadboard and glue code for that one, but it would be pretty simple to replicate.
