I forgot to mention that during installation I got an error: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in C:\wamp\www\includes\database.mysqli.inc on line 115

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with Neologism. After installing it, I am unable to create a vocabulary, more specifically the group "create content" there is nowhere a way to create a vocabulary. Then another problem I cannot define a superclass when creating a class.

Would you have any idea what's wrong?

Thank you in advance.

Julien.

Hi Julien,

Thanks for trying Neologism, and welcome to the list.

Yeah this looks like the installation is incomplete because it aborted with a timeout. Some bits have not been installed, so some parts of the site simply won't work.

We've heard this happening to several people who don't run a fast dedicated server.

See here for a possible workaround (comment 1):
http://code.google.com/p/neologism/issues/detail?id=187

Try removing those code lines, emptying the database (drop all tables), and running /install.php again.

Hope that helps,
Richard

Hi Richard,

Thank a lot for your answer and it work very well.

I can finally begin the publication of my ontology. I work with M. François Scharffe and he's my tutor of my student project which concerns the semantic web.

Thank a lot again.

Julien.

Hi,

Now I have another problem with Neologism. When I want to import "foaf", "rdfs", "owl", "rdf" and "dc" it tells me "prefix already exist" while I do not see in the list of vocabularies and it's normal because I comment the part of code which concern the imports of these vocabularies. How I can solve my problem ?

Best.

Julien.

I was able to temporarily solve this problem by commenting out the code that checks whether a vocabulary exists, then I import the vocabularies owl, rdf, rdfs, foaf dc and then I uncommented the lines of code that I had commented earlier.
