Hi Guys,
I'm about 3 weeks into Neo development for my site. It's a shoestring startup that despite getting a very healthy number of daily uniques is currently making no money. I'm hoping that Neo4J can help with that!
My app is hosted on Cloudbees and ultimately deployed in Amazon US-EAST-1. I looked into Neo hosting and found GrapheneDB. Not only could they do what I wanted but they can set me up with a Neo instance in US-EAST-1 for low latency connections over REST.
However I've just found out that their cheapest plan is $200/month for an m1.small instance with 20GB. The next step up is $400!
I simply cannot afford these numbers on something that, at this stage is reasonably speculative for me.
So just wondering what other options I have? I could go the vanilla Amazon route documented here:
http://www.neo4j.org/develop/ec2 and am strongly considering it, but are there any other services out there that could work for a shoestring startup like mine?
Thanks,
Ben.
