Neo4j and Geo-hashes

How neo4j works with geospatial data? I know that neo4j that it is possible to do, but does neo4j has tools like : http://www.mongodb.org/display/DOCS/Geospatial+Indexing#GeospatialIndexing-TheEarthisRoundbutMapsareFlat ?

Don't know if it's too late. Recently I have implemented a trie based neo4j geohash plugin at https://github.com/huashiyiqike/GeoHash_Neo4j. It is easy to understand
