Hi,

In http://docs.neo4j.org/chunked/1.7.2/auto-indexing.html we can see the message “This is an experimental feature. Expect changes in the API and do not rely on it for production data handling”, but this message has been removed from the latest documentation, at http://docs.neo4j.org/chunked/snapshot/auto-indexing.html .

Does this mean that the automatic indexes feature is production ready?

So,
the auto-indexing in Neo4j is functional and production ready as it
introduces very little over the manual indexing expect some
configuration. In the upcoming versions refactoring indexing is a very
big focus, but that will totally sidestep the existing indexing, so it
will not break what is existing today.

Cheers,
