Sorry! Too many neighbours

Hi all,

How to resolve "Sorry! Too many neighbors" in neo4j browser.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you meant the sample output (graph) on Neo4j??

Hi Pavan,

That's a limit that exists because the web browsers performance drops dramatically as the number of displayed relationships in the graph increases.

You can change this limit (it's defaulted to 100) in the config, simply by typing this into the Neo4j Browsers console:
:config maxNeighbours: 200


To see the current limit:
:config


But I warn you, your web browser will be angry :)


Thanks for addressing this, it should be solved in a nicer way.

This sounds like its not a problem with neo but a limitation on the browser.  I.e. there is nothing to fix.

I think there is a solution to it in the next version.

You might change your query to adapt it.
