Cypher: conditional expressions

I've opened a feature request for Cypher, to allow conditional expressions of some sort. I think this would be a powerful way to provide a lot of new functionality.

I'm bringing it up here because it hasn't gotten any attention on github as of yet. Does anyone have an opinion on the syntax? Would this be useful to others?

Now there is CASE/WHEN syntax in Neo4j 2.0.
