Hi, GianPaJ,

2011/9/1 GianPaJ <gia...@gmail.com>
Hi,

I've managed to create a new PyDev project following Pierre's blog
post:
http://pierreth.blogspot.com/2010/10/web2py-eclipse-pydev-recipe.html

but I can't get rid of the warnings and errors.

I'm still a noob at Eclipse and I can't manage to add the interpreter
when running 'create_eclipse_project'

You have to go in Help  > Preferences > PyDev > Interpreter Python. From there, you can add your Python interpreters.

using 'C:\Python27\python.exe' on Window Vista.
(PS: Python works fine and the python path is the Windows path)

I tried using the 'insert-imports' but i'm not quite sure if it's
suppose to work on Windows as it can't find the paths when using the
'\' bracket.

You have to add the dead code necessary for the static code analyzer because it does not see the magic imports made by web2py. This tool does just that.

I never tested it on Windows. Can you please give me the error you have? If you can take a few minutes, I'll try to fix my script to make work on Windows with your help.

Thanks for your help,
Gianfranco
