Yeah, it looks a little weird on one central person, but here's a comparison shot with the new one on top of my laptop screen, and the laptop's built-in camera.

Should work well at the table.

That's cool. I could mostly see most people last time, but on the sides people were right at the edge.  Should be an improvement, especially with one or two more people.

And if anyone has any suggestions about my camera or mic or whatever, just yell.  Newer laptop seems to have a decent camera (and one that isn't aimed up my nostrils...took you long enough, Dell), but I was just using an earbud/mic combo that came with a cell phone.  I have a beefier headset I can use, it just lives in a different room and is a lot bulkier.   Can't do much about the dog snorts and sneezes, that's just how Milo communicates. :)

Is there a setting on the new camera to adjust the aspect ratio? Maybe something called "stretch to fit" is turned on?
