Subject: your group name again?
Hey
there. I caught a blurb on channel 8 news today talking about a
similar "hackers" club set up in California. But this club requires a
$100 a month commitment to help pay rent, etc. They have a nice setup
where people can get together, talk, bounce ideas off one another, help
each other, etc. However, w/the monthly fee I could see where some
good people could get left out. But this is the original group that
the developer of Apple supposedly came out of. Anyway, if channel 8 is
willing to do a bit on a group all the way across the country, I
thought I'd email them and let them know they have a followup story
right here in their own back yard...YOU guys! But I can't do that
without the name of your group...so....can you send it to me again
please? And how to best contact you, look you guys up on line, etc.
Thanks!
Terri.

They refered to it in the news story as the Hacker Dojo.

I am surprised that Fox News didn't go the negative route with this
story ("Hackers are teaming up. Are your children safe? duhn duhn
DUHN!").
In fact, I didn't even hear them say anything like, "Its called
'Hacker Dojo', but they're not trying to steal your credit card
numbers."
