Apple Mac OSX users that make use of gtk, cli and gtk-glade frontends for DeSmuME DS emulator take note that there are some little changes like we have moved all configuration files and savestate / save game files to /.config/desmume . Files like .desmume.ini will be moved to the new directory automatically, but you have to manually copy individual DeSmuME save game files om Mac OSX.
1)Download the .duc from Gamefaq.
2)You should check on Advanscene that this game uses Eeprom 64kbit savetype that is 8Kb.
3) , "Savegame to convert" put the .duc file path, "Source format" choose Action Replay Max DS (.duc /.dss), "Target format" choose AceKard RPG / Raw Format (force 8kb). It will produce a .sav file.
4)Open desmume and LOAD first the game. When it's loaded File->Import Backup Memory, and choose the .sav.
5)Restart the game.
Just recently installed desmume via software-center on the latest Ubuntu install (16.04.1). ROMs can be executed with the software and run smoothly. However, there are no options for saving game states, configuring, changing volume, etc. Anyone have an idea as to why I am missing these options? All posts and tuts of using the program have these settings included. I removed and reinstalled due to lack of better ideas. Any help is much appreciated.
