I am using an iPhone and have no idea what WI-FI assist is?? The phone connects to the WYZE app via WI-FI if available and if not cell data. If I am in or around my home it uses the WI-FI, if I am out and about 100 miles away it uses cell data. I have no hot spots on my phone.

App not showing live stream gets stuck at 3. But if I turn my WiFi on my phone it works fine. In my house.
When I leave my house and try to view the cameras using my cellular data it will not hook up. I have unplugged. And reset. Help!!

I disabled the screen saver and power off when lid closed on the laptop. Closed the lid and stuck it up on the shelf in my office and just leave it running 24/7 with the BS emulator going and with one click on the remote desktop app now that I have skip the pin and remember the device. I can log in and see the cameras from the road.

I am working for a mobile provider and i am a technical person who working with networks. There is nothing connected to the cellular. Definitely this is an app or the firmware that was installed during the lifecycle from March 2019 till today.

Netflix and YouTube is not possible. I have not found this info anywhere but Apple and/or Netflix apparently do not allow AirPlay without Wifi. Using the latest Apple TV A1469 "EMC 2633" you are able to AirPlay without wifi from iOS 7 or later but if you try to "mirror" Netflix or YouTube you will receive error messages and the videos will not play. Hulu works

It IS possible. We do it in our camper. Generic router or access point, connect your phone to the wifi signal (sometimes it takes a while because it says no internet, after a bit it asks you if you want to continue without internet, say yes); connect your apple TV to the same access point. On your PHONE, go into Settings - WiFi, and select the network you are connecting to without internet, then select the little 'i' on the right. Then select "Static". Set IP address to 10.0.1.4 and subnet mask to 255.255.0.0

This will ensure your phone looks to cellular for internet connection, but allows the wifi necessary for AirPlay. Just make sure you have a fast enough wifi access point/router or you'll have trouble. Also, some apps WANT wifi internet to work right. But the other poster is correct: Netflix and Youtube (google) bind you with HDMI encruption BULLSH*T. They are attempting to force you to buy services coming and going. They don't make it easy!

I need to keep large video files (2-5 gb) sync'd between a stationary hard wired machine and a mobile laptop that is often roaming on very expensive international cellular data. I need the files downloaded, and willing to pay for the data to send it, but I cannot use something that would restart from scratch if the signal drops just prior to finishing that file upload. I tried asking support and they didn't seem to understand. Currently I use Idrive Sync and it resends all the data again if there is a signal drop.

I reread your response. I think I need to be a bit clearer. I under stand the files already there won't resync if the cell service drops. My concern is if a large 4GB file has already uploaded 90% of the file over the connection, and the connection drops, how does it handle that file? Does it just upload the last 10% of the file after it reconnects, not reusing that expensive data, or will it have to upload the 4 GB all over again? I cannot find anything documented about how the data transfer occurs. I would have thought there would be a whitepaper with details. -Bill

Starting yesterday (12/1/21) nearly every website, except Google, was blocked if I wasn't using wifi on my iPhone 12. I couldn't figure out why, until I noticed I couldn't turn my vpn off. After figuring out how to keep it from automatically turning on, I was able to finally go to websites when using cellular data! But what good is a vpn if it blocks most every website and most apps that require internet connection. I know the VPN was on before yesterday, so I'm not sure why it just started. I've searched and searched, but most vpn related issues are for when it's connected thru wifi, or the post is over 5 years old, or it gives partial or incorrect settings info. I would like to be safe when I browse on my cellular data, but now that seems impossible.

The fact that 3G or 4G cellular connection is sometimes not strong enough to download new assets for the game. A weak or unstable network will result in many crashes and the inability to run the game as seen. Please kindly keep in mind that once the asset bundles are successfully downloaded, you should most likely be able to play normally with your cellular network.

I recently turned my iPhone off and then on. Once back on the service bars stayed grayed out. I tried making a phone call, it went through, and the bars came back on. However, I have had no cellular data (internet access) since restarting my phone. I can make calls and use the internet with wifi but texts go through very slowly and there is no internet with wifi off and cellular on. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to take my phone in for repair?

Quick update... Of course, after working on this for hours, right after I posted this question the cellular data started to work again. My husbands phone, the same model as mine and on the same Verizon plan, never lost service. I'm wondering if something internally is starting to break? Anyone else have this problem?

I haven't been able to use data all week starting on 10/14/19 , no gps, nothing, I can get some some email, it seems that I am only able to connect using wifi. For instance, I have to start my GPS while using Wifi, wondering if this has anything to do with the new iOS update for the iPhone?

At Campbell Scientific, we offer subscriptions to cellular data plans to be used with our RV50 modems, the cellular modems built into our CR300 and CR310 dataloggers, and our CELL200-series cellular modules (CELL205, CELL210, CELL215, CELL220, CELL225). Modems are provisioned and activated when you receive them.

A subscription to cellular data service is available to those who purchase cellular-enabled devices. When ordering a cellular-enabled product, you can choose the Data Provisioning option to subscribe to Campbell Scientific Cellular Data Services. By doing so, the modem will be provisioned and activated to work on a selected carrier.

When ordering a provisioned device, also choose a data plan. The annual subscription cost is based on the data plan and selected carrier. Data plans are available from 25 MB per month to 5 GB per month.

Campbell Scientific Cellular Data Services is an incredibly cost-effective and easy way to ensure your data collection plan is active and ready to go. Allow us to take the hassle of finding a trusted service provider off your hands.

Cellular data plans from Campbell Scientific provide private dynamic IP Internet connectivity. To enable secure, two-way, communication between the data logger and Campbell Scientific data logger support software, a complimentary subscription to the Konect PakBus Router service is included with your purchase of a cellular-enabled device.

The duration of a subscription is typically one year, beginning 10 days from the provisioning date. Service suspensions or multi-year subscriptions will affect the renewal date. Sixty days before a subscription expires, Campbell Scientific will send the customer contact a renewal notice via email with a link to the online renewal center on the Your Account page. From there, customers can renew the subscription and select a method of payment. Customers can renew their subscription at any time and can pay for up to five years of service.

On our website, log in to your account and select the Cellular Data Subscriptions option listed under Orders and Tools. This page will show your data use, modem status on the carrier, and other information.

If you would like to give others access to this information, they need to create their own user account (an option on the Account Login page). Then share with them the modem phone number, which is also called the MSISDN number. After they log in, have them select the Cellular Data Subscriptions option listed under Orders and Tools and then the Linked Subscriptions tab. From there, they enter the modem phone number, and then they will then be able to view the information they need.

We have access to over 600 cellular carriers in 185 countries. If the country where you need service is not on the Country List for Cellular Plans, contact Campbell Scientific Customer Service for a quote. We need to know the country and expected monthly data use.

Each data plan has a monthly limit. When more than one line of service has the same data plan, the data allotment is pooled for use by all lines on the same plan. If the modem data use exceeds the plan limit for a month, an email will be sent to notify the customer contact. Data overages are logged each day. When overage charges beyond the pool limit reach $50.00, customers will be notified and billed. For information about current additional charges, review the Cellular Data Service Provisioning Order form.
