I just found a solution that worked for me. I closed all apps. Then I manually changed the date on my phone to December 31st 2023. I was then able to open the wearable app. I changed the date back to automatic. All is working again.
Yep! Works. This problem has been happening a few days and I've just realized it may have started on January the 1st 2024. Wearable app won't open and my watch won't get alerts from apps for which I have allowed alerts.
I have a rooted, but stock Tab S6 Lite. Is there something built within Samsung that will prevent streaming apps from playing video, perhaps after rooting? I can't get any streaming app to play video whether it's streamed over the internet or downloaded. It doesn't matter whether it's Netflix, Peacock, Vudu, whatever. When I go to play a video, I get a playback error. Most of the playback errors points to a connection issue, but those same errors appear for downloaded videos as well.
Settings>apps>pandora>I scroll to the very bottom and I get these options...open, uninstall and force stop. It is similar to a crtl>alt>delete on a Windows computer or Amazon fire stick when the Hulu app starts getting weird again, best way I can describe it.
This morning at 3 AM this happened to me! Scared the hell out of my husband and I both deeply asleep. It actually kept playing randomly during the day yesterday, and I made sure all apps were closed before I went to bed. I hate to uninstall but that was startling!
Samsung smart TV's are all-in-one entertainment systems, providing easy access to fantastic apps like Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime. If you're experiencing issues with an app that isn't working, whether it is crashing or isn't opening at all, there are a few different troubleshooting solutions you can try. Follow the steps below to fix the problem.
If you're still having issues with apps on your TV you can try resetting Smart Hub. This should be used as a last resort as you will be signed out of every app that you use on your smart TV, not just the app you want to fix.
Hello! All of my MS apps stopped opening on my phone, Samsung Galaxy S9. No other app is having an issue. I've chatted with MS support and they were unable to resolve the issue so directed me to this forum. I've done a force stop in each app, cleared the cache in each app, made sure my phone is synced to the Google server, uninstalled/reinstalled the apps, restarted the phone, but they still immediately shut down as soon as they open. Any ideas?
@Maywand Samsung's recommendation was to do a factory reset but I was waiting to see if I'd get any responses here first. I waited a few days then decided to try one last time to open the apps before doing a reset. This time they opened! I have no idea what the issue was, but now they seem to be running fine.
Ring is aware of a number of virus protection apps, file optimisers, ringtone apps and battery saver apps available for Android devices that may interfere with the Ring app's ability to provide not...
First select Facer in the Samsung Wear app as your watchface. Then wake up your watch and make sure it is showing a Facer watchface. That should be enough for the Facer app to realize it the watch is actively using Facer and allow you to sync watchfaces. WearOS 3 seems to be a little picky about how it communicates between the Facer watch and phone apps for some reason.
2. Not quite sure where it is located in your Tab but go to Menu > Settings > Apps > swipe right side to ALL Apps, then scroll down and find Download Manager. The Apps are listed alphabetically, with working apps first then disabled apps.
In the Google Play setting, the App download preference is 'over any network', and the 'Auto-update apps' is 'over any network'. So I expected all apps to be updated automatically, but 16 updates are pending now.
So if you have a managed account on your phone, it's possible your organization is setting this window to be longer. Otherwise, it could be that your phone is not being deemed "idle" by Google Play. A restart may help, as well as a look at any apps that are running frequently in the background and may be preventing the phone from appearing "idle."
I just ran into this issue too after resetting one of my Android tablets and reinstalling apps from backup. Error occurs after entering email address and password and tapping Login.
Tablet is on Android 8.1.0 and Bitwarden app version is 2.18.0.
No problem on my laptop or my other tablet Android 11 (same app version) - though one difference would be that here, the vault is locked (just wants the master password). I am a bit wary of signing out to see what happens.
For all OneDrive mobile sync, sharing, and upload issues, make sure you can connect to the Internet. Some apps and features may only work with Wi-Fi, depending on your device settings, or your mobile data plan.
Sometimes, life just doesn't go as expected, and in the beautiful big world of Android, sometimes certain devices, third-party apps, and even some device settings can block TeamSnap notifications from coming through, or some other unexplained issued can cause things to stop working correctly. 'How dare they!' you may be thinking, and we agree, but alas that is the reality of life - we can't control everything. We can, however, give you some tools and information that may help.
1Password Autofill works in every app that isn't Chrome (i.e. Firefox is fine). Some apps are hard coded to use Chrome for their login screens. These don't work either. Chrome only suggests from the Google Password Manager. Selecting a new autofill service (or even none) has no effect. The Chrome settings have "offer to save passwords" and "auto sign-in" turned off. Unlike the instructions, these options are underneath a cog icon on the "Password Manager" menu, not the "Passwords" menu, which doesn't exist.
Looked at a bunch of other posts and cant solve this issue. My headset was working fine until today where i was forced to get a using a meta account. Since then all i get is a "Facebook Session Expired" error. I've uninstalled Facebook and Oculus apps and reinstalled, no change. I created a new FB account and Linked it but again when i open the Oculus Gear VR app i get that error, rebooted the device, no change, removed all FB accounts from my device (S9+) and added only the new account, no change. My old Oculus account doesn't work as i get a "No network Connection" error there. WTF is up with Meta forcing users into this crap that is rife with issues. And I cant raise a ticket because there is no support option for Gear VR. And I refuse to buy a $400 headset just on principle...My existing one worked just fine until today.
Android 12 introduced a toast notification when an application accesses the clipboard, regardless of whether the device is MDM enrolled or if apps are protected by app protection policies. Users running Android Company Portal version 5.0.5450.0 or later may notice an unexpected toast notification when using apps, such as Outlook. An example notification reads "Outlook pasted from your clipboard."
Admins who recently published a new Managed Google Play web or line-of-business (LOB) app will notice delays for those apps to sync to Intune. After selecting Sync from either the Microsoft Intune admin center or the Google Play console, it can take six hours or longer for the new apps to appear in the app list in Intune. For more information and workarounds, see Known Issue: Long sync times in Intune for Managed Google Play private apps and web apps.
We are aware of an issue that can affect organization using app protection policies (APP, also known as MAM) to manage their mobile Office apps. In this scenario, users are signed out of all Office mobile apps once they sign out of a single Office app (or if they are automatically signed out of an app). Once a user is signed out, they are forced to reauthenticate so that policies can be applied before they access the managed apps. This can sometimes lead to an authentication loop.
There is a known issue with the Android 10 Samsung A10 biometric authorization (face recognition/thumbprint). Launching any apps with app protection policies (APP, also known as MAM) on an Android 10 Samsung A10 with biometric authorization enabled will cause the device to crash. We have disabled biometric authentication for affected devices. For more information, see Known Issue: Android 10 Samsung A10 Biometric Authentication.
My phone is connected, my apps are running, but I still cannot find any apps.
Sometimes apps do not properly close and re-open their connection to SYNC, over ignition cycles, for example.
My Android phone is connected, my app(s) are running, I restarted them, but I still cannot find any apps.
There is a Bluetooth**** bug on some older versions of the Android operating system that may cause apps that were found on your previous vehicle drive to not be found again if you have not turned off Bluetooth. Reset the Bluetooth on your phone by turning it off and then turning Bluetooth back on. If you are in your vehicle, SYNC should be able to automatically re-connect to your phone if you press the "Phone" button.
I can only see some of the AppLink apps running on my phone listed in SYNC's Mobile Apps Menu.
Some Android devices have a limited number of Bluetooth ports apps can use to connect. If you have more AppLink apps on your phone than the number of available Bluetooth ports, you will not see all of your apps listed in SYNC's mobile apps menu.
