Happy to announce that a new release of Nemo is out now as a
beta of v2.4.0.
We have made major changes in the quantitative trait to allow
for more flexibility in the genetic architecture of polygenic
traits with variable pleiotropy, dominance and epistasis.
It is now also possible to model plastic traits with a linear
reaction norm. The reaction norm, and thus plasticity can evolve
in the model.
Nemo should become the tool of choice to model complex
genotype-phenotype maps and the evolution of quantitative traits
in variable environments.
Large parts of the code have also been revised and improved.
There is now better support for Wright-Fisher simulations and
improved performances with recombination on large genetic maps.
Best,
Fred
