Wiki is offline

Hi,

I would like to check out Nemerle, but it seems that the Wiki is offline.

Is there another location where I can get detailed documentation for Nemerle?

There is the wiki on [GitHub](https://github.com/rsdn/nemerle/wiki), which is probably newer.

Unfortunately the problem is known :(
The wiki was hosted on rsdn.ru server which has been upgraded, so no wiki for now..
Also there are no nightly builds anymore :(

The wiki on GitHub is what I was looking for.

Can we not just update the nemerle.org site so the Wiki link points to the GitHub

page for now?

So, why not to just simply replace http://nemerle.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page link with https://github.com/rsdn/nemerle/wiki ?

It's not a bug problem... for the hardcore FP geeks (like me, yeah :), but some my colleagues considered Nemerle as

BTW problem is also with links 'Try nemerle online' (nothing shows up) and 'Read complete reference' (another dead link).

Man, some day I said to my colleagues "hey, i'd found a great language, check it out!", they went to nemerle.org, click on wiki and said "Are You joking, man? It's a dead shit"

nemerle.org is the ONLY official site, is it DEADLY difficult to fix ONE LINK? By the way, I sent a pull request that fixes it, i think, 2 minutes is worth to deploy it, isn't it?

Well yes website is not maintained and the language itself as well .
You have GitHub repo . All issues and wiki are there.
Open an issue for not working web site.

That's extremely embarrassing, isn't that? If there isn't any future plans for Nemerle development, please, state it explicitly on the official site's main page. Smth like, "We don't like this piece of crap anymore, because of our cool new thing ... Check it out here: <link to the cool new thing>".

You have GitHub repo . All issues and wiki are there.

In this case wouldn't it be nice if someone from Nemerle team places a redirect from the official site to GitHub? The guy you've just pissed off even created a pull request for you.

And if there aren't any active participants of the project anymore, again, please state it explicitly. In any other case, the site should be maintained, if you want to be taken seriously, of course. From endusers' viewpoint,  there's no excuse for broken links.

Open an issue for not working web site.

Imagine for a moment that you receive such a suggestion from an active member of any normal open source project's team, say, from one of the Apache projects. I'd really like to see your face at that moment.

So, guys, if you abandoned Nemerle for a cool new proprietary thing called 'Nitra', please, state it clear. Don't be misleading.
