May this email reach you in the best health and strong spirit of Iman. Insya-Allah. As all of you know, we have our APEX Camp 2010 and we're in need of more facilitators and stationmasters. I would like to request for your help to spread the message around to your friends (mentors or non-mentors). We need as much manpower as we can gather. The APEX CAMP 2010
...APEXcellence, Pioneers of the Next Golden Age...
APEX Camp 2010 aims to have a set up to recreate the dynamic legacy of The Golden Ages which existed in Al-Andalus period. Andalusia produced a great civilization far ahead and advanced than the rest of Europe. Hence, with the likes of Muslim Scholars and their discoveries that have connections to our modern world as role models, we hope students will be inspired to excel and discover their inner potential.
Qn: When & Where?
4th June, Friday 7.30am-5.30pm : Ta'aruf sessions @ Madrasah Irsyad & Arabiah
5th June, Saturday 7.30am-Overnight @ Wak Tanjong : Tafahum through Amazing Race, Night walk, Qiyammulail
6th June, Sunday 7.30am-5.30pm : Taa'wun sessions @ Madrasah Wak Tanjong
IMPORTANT: Please note that there is a dry-run at NTU on the 31st of May 2010, Sunday. All facilitators and station masters are encouraged to come down. So, we hope you can keep yourselves free on that day :)
Qn: How can I be a part of this?
40 x Facilitators: Bonding with students. Guide students THROUGHOUT ALL THREE-Days of the camp. Facilitate through friendship!
40 x Station Masters (*We need more facilitators on the 5th of June for the Amazing Race): Meet & Greet teams at station games. Motivate students.
